About Us

EntrepreneurU is an outgrowth of DECA's partnership with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. The www.EntrepreneurU.org Web site was created for the purpose of informing students, administrators and parents about the opportunities for studying entrepreneurship beyond high school.

The Web site features a searchable database of college entrepreneurship programs. After specific criteria are selected, students, teachers, counselors and/or parents can access a list of colleges/universities with entrepreneurship programs that meet their criteria. In addition, the Web site features: teacher resources, student resources and scholarship opportunities.

Established in the mid-1960s by the late entrepreneur and philanthropist Ewing Marion Kauffman, the Kauffman Foundation works to advance entrepreneurship by reaching individuals of all ages through the delivery of entrepreneurship education and development, and the promotion of an entrepreneurial environment. You can learn more about the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation on their Web site, www.kauffman.org.

The mission of DECA, Inc. is to enhance the co-curricular education of students with interest in marketing, management and entrepreneurship. Nobody talks of entrepreneurship as survival, but that's exactly what it is and what nurtures creative thinking.
