DECA's entrepreneurship competitive events teach hands-on entrepreneurship. The book of guidelines for the events, the DECA Guide is online. While doing these events, students write proposals for businesses, write business plans, promote entrepreneurship, and learn how to manage businesses.

School-based enterprises (SBEs) www.schoolbasedenterprises.org

SBEs are student-run businesses within schools. They can be school stores, snack bars, banks, and much more. They are laboratories for students studying business creation and management.
